The NY <i>Times<\/i> features <a href=\"http:\/\/www.nytimes.com\/2006\/07\/12\/arts\/design\/12atta.html?th&amp;emc=th\">an article on Kim&#8217;s work<\/a>, and the International Center of Photography <a href=\"http:\/\/www.icp.org\/site\/c.dnJGKJNsFqG\/b.1706759\/k.9A54\/Atta_Kim_OnAir.htm\">discusses the show<\/a> and offers a <a href=\"http:\/\/www.icp.org\/atf\/cf\/{A0B4EE7B-5A90-46AB-AF37-7115A2D48F94}\/kim_popup.html?1&amp;kim_popup\">gallery of Kim&#8217;s images<\/a>\n<li>Few customers keep Photoshop honest quite like the <i>Times<\/i>.  When you&#8217;re pumping 2500 images a day through the newsroom, you have zero tolerance for hiccups and incompatibilities, and the staff have shared a lot of valuable perspective over the years.  In &#8220;Talk to the Newsroom,&#8221; photo editor Michele McNally <a href=\"http:\/\/www.nytimes.com\/ref\/business\/media\/asktheeditors.html?8dpc\">tackles readers&#8217; questions<\/a> on everything from the gear used to what staff are (and are not) allowed to do in Photoshop.\n<li><i>Slate<\/i> &amp; Magnum continue their excellent <a href=\"http:\/\/todayspictures.slate.com\">Today&#8217;s Pictures<\/a> series.  I&#8217;d call this one <a href=\"http:\/\/todayspictures.slate.com\/20060703\/10.html\"><i>&#8220;Old Women on Rascals with Battleship&#8221;<\/i><\/a> (from the <a href=\"http:\/\/todayspictures.slate.com\/20060703\/\" \/>&#8220;America, Americana&#8221;<\/a> series).\n<li>&#8220;If You Think You Need This, Kill Yourself&#8221;:  Er, well, that&#8217;s not pulling any punches.  Mike Johnston takes a rather <a href=\"http:\/\/theonlinephotographer.blogspot.com\/2006\/07\/if-you-think-you-need-this-kill.html\">dim view of in-camera facial recognition<\/a>.\n<li>Having your work ripped off <a href=\"http:\/\/blogs.adobe.com\/jnack\/2006\/03\/logo_thievery.html\">sucks<\/a>, but I guess I&#8217;d be pretty flattered if an image I took <a href=\"http:\/\/www.pdnonline.com\/pdn\/newswire\/article_display.jsp?vnu_content_id=1002425159\">became African currency<\/a>.
