[<a href=\"http:\/\/www.core77.com\/blog\/technology\/the_reactable_4872.asp\">Via<\/a>] <\/li>\n<li><a href=\"http:\/\/www.newscientisttech.com\/article\/dn10673-acoustic-sensors-make-surfaces-interactive.html\">Tai-Chi<\/a> is a series of acoustic sensors that turn any surface into a touch-sensitive computer interface.&#160; Here you can see it <a href=\"http:\/\/media.newscientist.com\/data\/images\/ns\/av\/dn10671A1.wmv\">tracking a finger<\/a>, among other objects. [<a href=\"http:\/\/www.boingboing.net\/2006\/11\/28\/plank_cheap_mic_touc.html\">Via<\/a>]<\/li>\n<li>The <a href=\"http:\/\/www.onomy.com\/blue\/tilty.html\">Onomy Tilty Table<\/a> is a large display that can rock back and forth, moving the image on screen as you move the table.&#160; This makes it quick for cruising across large images, from geographic imagery to the AIDS Quilt. <a href=\"http:\/\/www.onomy.com\/video\/quilty-full.mpg\">Check it out in action<\/a>.&#160; The latest version will enable twisting to aid navigation. [<a href=\"http:\/\/www.kottke.org\/\">Via<\/a>]<\/li>\n<li><a href=\"http:\/\/tangible.media.mit.edu\/projects\/sandscape\/\">SandScape<\/a> lets users interact with a landscape model made of sand, watching interpretations of the results projected back onto the sand.&#160; So you could, for example, sculpt a new form in the sand, then see  water flow patterns projected onto the surface. It&#8217;s easier to <a href=\"http:\/\/tmg-video.media.mit.edu\/sandscape\/sandscape_352x240.mpg\">see it in action<\/a> than to describe.&#160; More info is <a href=\"http:\/\/www.aec.at\/en\/archives\/center_projekt_ausgabe.asp?iProjectID=11024\">here<\/a>. &#160; [<a href=\"http:\/\/www.we-make-money-not-art.com\/archives\/009102.php\">Via<\/a>] <\/li>\n<li>3D Connexion (corporate cousins of the Logitech guys behind the NuLOOQ &quot;<a href=\"http:\/\/blogs.adobe.com\/jnack\/2006\/10\/the_adobe_mouse.html\">Adobe mouse<\/a>&quot;) have <a href=\"http:\/\/news.com.com\/3D+Connexion+offers+new+device+for+the+3D+world\/2100-1041-6138727.html?part=dht&amp;tag=nl.e703\">introduced the SpaceNavigator<\/a>, a $49 puck optimized for navigating 3D spaces (e.g. Google Earth).<\/li>\n<li>Robert Hodgin (of <a href=\"http:\/\/www.flight404.com\/version8\/index.html\">Flight404<\/a> fame) created a large <a href=\"http:\/\/www.flight404.com\/downloads\/nextFestVideoWall.mov\">interactive video wall<\/a> in conjunction with Saturn&#8217;s hybrid vehicle launch.
