{"id":12200,"date":"2006-10-28T15:04:53","date_gmt":"2006-10-28T15:04:53","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/blogs.adobe.com\/jnackdev\/2006\/10\/fireworks-does-mxml-acrobat-does-3d-more.html"},"modified":"2006-10-28T15:04:53","modified_gmt":"2006-10-28T15:04:53","slug":"fireworks_does_mxml_acrobat_does_3d_more-2","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"http:\/\/jnack.com\/blog\/2006\/10\/28\/fireworks_does_mxml_acrobat_does_3d_more-2\/","title":{"rendered":"Fireworks does MXML, Acrobat does 3D, &#038; more"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Wrapping up a packed week at Adobe MAX, on Thursday a number of teams provided glimpses of what they&#8217;ve got cooking for the future.&#160; Jen deHaan has provided a <a href=\"http:\/\/weblogs.macromedia.com\/dehaan\/archives\/2006\/10\/day_3_sneak_pee.cfm\">great overview<\/a>, taking notes during the session.&#160; Some highlights:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Fireworks is now geared towards rapid prototyping.&#160;  Dani Beaumont dragged buttons and other widgets into a Fireworks doc, set JavaScript parameters, exported the results to <a href=\"http:\/\/www.adobe.com\/devnet\/flex\/articles\/paradigm.html\">MXML<\/a>, and opened it in Flex.&#160; If this trips your trigger, you can sign up for their <a href=\"https:\/\/prerelease.adobe.com\/callout\/default.html?callid=72A75D76F7E14DFEB1C8D37E8F85800E\">beta<\/a>. <\/li>\n<li>Adobe is working with Yahoo on integration with the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.adobe.com\/products\/acrobatconnect\/\">Acrobat Connect<\/a> (ne\u00e9 Breeze) communication platform. Peter Ryce &amp; Dean Chen showed PDFs being displayed directly through Connect (using the Flash Player).<\/li>\n<li>Hart Schafer pointed out spectral view in Soundbooth, where you can visually eliminate unwanted noises using tools much like Photoshop&#8217;s Healing Brush.&#160; Played a <em>bahw<\/em>-tschicka-<em>WAaoow<\/em> funk groove appropriate to Dirty Vegas.<\/li>\n<li>Scott Fegette demoed cross-browser compatibility checking in Dreamweaver, plus a CSS Advisor on Adobe.com that lets users share solutions, add comments, rate articles, etc.<\/li>\n<li>Beau Amber of <a href=\"http:\/\/www.metaliq.com\/site.html\">Metaliq<\/a> showed new <a href=\"http:\/\/blogs.adobe.com\/jnack\/2006\/10\/colossal_images.html\">Zoomify<\/a> components written in ActionScript 3.0. Fast and smooth loading of a 1.2GB file through Flash Player. [<em>More thoughtful chin-pulling ensues.<\/em>]<\/li>\n<li>Michael Kaplan displayed an interactive, 3D Razr phone running inside a PDF.
