[<a href=\"http:\/\/www.somerandomdude.net\/blog\/daily-delicious\/photo-of-the-year-2006\/\">Via<\/a>]<\/li>\n<li>Unflinching war photographer <a href=\"http:\/\/www.jamesnachtwey.com\/\">James Nachtwey<\/a> has been honored at the TED Conference.&nbsp; They&#8217;ve created a <a href=\"http:\/\/ted.com\/tedprize\/2007\/index.cfm\">video<\/a> discussing his &amp; others&#8217; work, and Nachtwey is covered in the documentary War Photographer (<a href=\"http:\/\/www.youtube.com\/watch?v=x3VoyjUP8hg\">3-minute excerpt<\/a>). [<a href=\"http:\/\/www.boingboing.net\/2007\/03\/08\/ted_award_winner_jam.html\">Via<\/a>] <\/li>\n<li>Hoping for a more peaceful world, <a href=\"http:\/\/retired.jp\/\">Retired Weapons<\/a> depicts another future for military hardware.&#160; (I  hoped for a bit more from this one, but maybe it&#8217;s deeper than I&#8217;m seeing.)
