In any case, now Guido Quaroni\u2014who spent 20 years at Pixar &amp; who was always a fantastic host during Adobe customer visits\u2014has now <a href=\"https:\/\/blog.adobe.com\/en\/2021\/01\/14\/pixar-veteran-guido-quaroni-joins-adobe-as-senior-director-of-engineering-3d-immersive.html#gs.qmro1d\">joined the Big Red A<\/a>:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><a href=\"http:\/\/jnack.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/01\/Guido.jpeg\"><img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" width=\"800\" height=\"719\" src=\"http:\/\/jnack.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/01\/Guido.jpeg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-14124\" srcset=\"http:\/\/jnack.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/01\/Guido.jpeg 800w, http:\/\/jnack.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/01\/Guido-300x270.jpeg 300w, http:\/\/jnack.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/01\/Guido-768x690.jpeg 768w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 800px) 100vw, 800px\" \/><\/a><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote\"><p>\u201cI\u2019ve been a customer of Adobe\u2019s software for a number of years, and I always admired Adobe\u2019s commitment to provide top of the line tools to creatives,\u201d said Quaroni. \u201cWhen I heard about Adobe\u2019s renewed interest in entering into the 3D market, given how much more pervasive the consumption of 3D content is becoming, I knew it was something I wanted to be a part of. I\u2019m excited to be joining the Adobe team to help accelerate and grow their 3D offerings for creatives worldwide.\u201d<\/p><\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n<p>I remain proud to have delivered, at Guido&#8217;s urging, perhaps the most arcane feature request ever: he asked for per-layer timestamps in Photoshop so that Pixar&#8217;s rendering pipeline could discern which layers had actually been changed by artists, thereby saving a lot of rendering time.
