It&#8217;s built into Google Photos, among other surfaces, and I&#8217;m really pleased that <a href=\"https:\/\/www.androidpolice.com\/2021\/01\/19\/google-lens-hits-500-million-play-store-installs\/\">people are seeking it out<\/a>:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote\"><p>We at AP don&#8217;t think that Lens gets enough praise; we even named it one of&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.androidpolice.com\/2020\/12\/30\/our-10-favorite-android-features-from-2020\/#Google_Lens_homework_and_more\">our 10 favorite Android features from 2020<\/a>. Lens is an AR-powered service that can help you translate, identify, and scan things around you. Last year, it added support for&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.androidpolice.com\/2020\/08\/11\/google-lens-gets-more-helpful-with-homework-especially-math-and-science-questions\/\">solving homework questions<\/a>,&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.androidpolice.com\/2020\/05\/07\/google-lens-gets-text-to-speech-copying-text-to-a-computer-and-more\/\">text-to-speech and &#8220;copy to computer&#8221; functions<\/a>, and&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.androidpolice.com\/2020\/03\/09\/google-lens-helps-you-choose-the-best-dishes-when-browsing-restaurant-menus-in-maps\/\">helping choose the best dishes at restaurants<\/a>.
