It&#8217;s Up To Us.&#8221;"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p><em>\u201cEveryone sweeps the floor around here.\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>As I&#8217;ve noted many times, that <a href=\"http:\/\/jnack.com\/blog\/2017\/08\/28\/everyone-sweeps-the-floor-around-here-wisdom-from-adobes-founders\/\">core ethos from Adobe&#8217;s founders<\/a> has really stuck with me over the years. In a similar, if superficially darker, vein, I keep meditating on the phrase \u201cNo One Is Coming, It\u2019s Up To Us,\u201d which appears in a sticker I put on the back of my car:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><a href=\"http:\/\/jnack.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/05\/Tiger.jpg\"><img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" width=\"702\" height=\"818\" src=\"http:\/\/jnack.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/05\/Tiger.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-14761\" srcset=\"http:\/\/jnack.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/05\/Tiger.jpg 702w, http:\/\/jnack.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/05\/Tiger-257x300.jpg 257w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 702px) 100vw, 702px\" \/><\/a><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>It\u2019s <em>reeeeealy<\/em> easy to sit around and complain that we don\u2019t have enough XYZ support (design cycles, eng bodies, etc.), and it\u2019s all true\/fair\u2014but F that \u2018cause it doesn\u2019t move the ball.
