That change hasn&#8217;t been made yet, but scripter David Jensen has a <a href=\"http:\/\/feedback.photoshop.com\/photoshop_family\/topics\/please_add_the_ability_for_command_j_to_dupe_layers_and_layer_groups\">solution<\/a>: Install a script that dupes layers, then assign Cmd-J to it.  It&#8217;s very easy to do:<\/p>\n<ol>\n<li><a href='http:\/\/blogs.adobe.com\/jnack\/files\/2011\/05\/DuplicateLayers.jsx_.zip'>Download this script<\/a> and drop it into your Photoshop CS5\/Presets\/Scripts folder.
