{"id":18171,"date":"2013-05-14T10:23:24","date_gmt":"2013-05-14T17:23:24","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/blogs.adobe.com\/jnack\/?p=9238"},"modified":"2013-05-14T10:23:24","modified_gmt":"2013-05-14T17:23:24","slug":"welcoming-a-new-storyteller-to-adobe","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"http:\/\/jnack.com\/blog\/2013\/05\/14\/welcoming-a-new-storyteller-to-adobe\/","title":{"rendered":"Welcoming a new storyteller to Adobe"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>I&#8217;m delighted to say that accomplished young storyteller\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.facebook.com\/biancagiaevermedia\">Bianca Giaever<\/a>\u00a0has just joined my team at Adobe.<\/p>\n<p>Bianca recently graduated Middlebury College, where she created her own program as an\u00a0Independent Scholar in Narrative Studies. Her short film &#8220;<a href=\"https:\/\/vimeo.com\/58659769\">The Scared is scared<\/a>&#8221; (below) recently crossed the million-view threshhold on Vimeo, and in 2011 she conducted interviews with veterans across\u00a0the country by bicycle for the\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/www.warinvoice.org\/STORIES.html\">War In Voice Project<\/a>\u00a0through a grant from Davis\u00a0Projects For Peace. She&#8217;s been all over public radio, featured at TED, working at the New York Review of Books, and generally making me feel like an underachieving slacker.<\/p>\n<p>Now, why exactly would Adobe want a storyteller on staff? I can&#8217;t explain in full yet, but it&#8217;ll make sense soon enough.
