{"id":19465,"date":"2022-05-24T10:30:45","date_gmt":"2022-05-24T17:30:45","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/jnack.com\/blog\/?p=19465"},"modified":"2022-05-30T11:50:55","modified_gmt":"2022-05-30T18:50:55","slug":"meet-imagen-googles-new-ai-image-synthesizer","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"http:\/\/jnack.com\/blog\/2022\/05\/24\/meet-imagen-googles-new-ai-image-synthesizer\/","title":{"rendered":"Meet &#8220;Imagen,&#8221; Google&#8217;s new AI image synthesizer"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p><em>What a time to be alive&#8230;<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Hard on the heels of OpenAI revealing DALL\u2022E 2 last month, Google has announced <a href=\"https:\/\/gweb-research-imagen.appspot.com\/\">Imagen<\/a>, promising &#8220;unprecedented photorealism \u00d7 deep level of language understanding.&#8221; Unlike DALL\u2022E, it&#8217;s not yet available via a demo, but the sample images (below) are impressive.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>I&#8217;m slightly amused to see Google flexing on DALL\u2022E by highlighting Imagen&#8217;s strengths in figuring out spatial arrangements &amp; coherent text (places where DALL\u2022E sometimes currently struggles).
