{"id":243,"date":"2014-03-05T06:01:04","date_gmt":"2014-03-05T14:01:04","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/jnack.com\/blog\/?p=243"},"modified":"2014-03-05T06:01:04","modified_gmt":"2014-03-05T14:01:04","slug":"shortcut-cycling-through-windowstabs-in-photoshop","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"http:\/\/jnack.com\/blog\/2014\/03\/05\/shortcut-cycling-through-windowstabs-in-photoshop\/","title":{"rendered":"Shortcut: Cycling through windows\/tabs in Photoshop"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Julieanne Kost <a href=\"http:\/\/blogs.adobe.com\/jkost\/2014\/03\/cycle-through-tabbed-documents-in-photoshop.html\">reminded me<\/a> of options that surprisingly few people know:<\/p>\n<blockquote>\n<p>Use either of these shortcuts to cycle through open, tabbed documents in Photoshop:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Command + ~ (tilde) (Mac) | Control + ~ (tilda) (Win)<\/li>\n<li>Command + Tab (this is the same shortcut for both platforms).<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Adding the Shift key to either shortcut will reverse direction.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>When we changed the meaning of Cmd-~ and Cmd-1 in CS4\u00a0to be more platform- and app-consistent, longtime Photoshop users <a href=\"http:\/\/blogs.adobe.com\/jnack\/2008\/10\/shortcut_changes_in_pscs4.html\">flipped out<\/a>, and I didn\u2019t blame them.
