{"id":2502,"date":"2015-06-08T01:23:21","date_gmt":"2015-06-08T08:23:21","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/jnack.com\/blog\/?p=2502"},"modified":"2015-10-28T13:42:12","modified_gmt":"2015-10-28T20:42:12","slug":"feedback-please-snapseed-photos-integration","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"http:\/\/jnack.com\/blog\/2015\/06\/08\/feedback-please-snapseed-photos-integration\/","title":{"rendered":"Feedback, please: Snapseed-Photos integration"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>As Lightroom is to Photoshop, Google Photos is to Snapseed:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>The former manages thousands of photos &amp; offers a comparatively lightweight editor, while the latter provides maximum power.<\/li>\n<li>Edits in the former are written in place* non-destructively, while images handed off to the latter result in newly generated copies.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>On iOS &amp; Android\u00a0you can use Snapseed to edit any image in Photos by simply opening the image in Photos, tapping the overflow menu (upper right corner), and choosing \u201cEdit in Snapseed.\u201d This means that applying deep editing functionality requires just one additional tap relative to using the lightweight (but deceptively powerful) editor in Photos.<\/p>\n<p>We think this integration works well, but of course there are always ideas on how it could be improved. Now that Photos &amp; Snapseed have been available for a bit, how are you finding the integration?
