All platforms now show \u201cRediscover this day cards.\u201d In addition:<\/p>\n<p>On <a href=\"https:\/\/play.google.com\/store\/apps\/details?id=com.google.android.apps.photos&amp;hl=en\">Android<\/a>:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Reorder your photos in an album<\/strong>: Tap the pencil icon within the album, then drag photos to reorder them.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Adjust the length of clips within movies<\/strong>: Open a movie (which lives under Collections), tap the timeline icon, and tap the clip you want to adjust.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>On <a href=\"https:\/\/itunes.apple.com\/app\/id962194608\">iOS<\/a>:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Change the cover photo of your albums<\/strong>: Go into an album, tap one of the photos, and then tap the overflow menu (three dots in the upper right) and choose \u201cUse as album cover.\u201d (This also works on Android &amp; Web.)<\/li>\n<li><strong>Share animations directly to Facebook<\/strong>: Photos will insert a link so that your photos can animate inline on Facebook.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Save animations as videos to share to Instagram, Whatsapp, and more<\/strong>: Open a GIF, tap the share button, and tap \u201cSave as Video.\u201d Frames are replicated several times to preserve the looping effect as much as possible, and the resulting video appears alongside the original GIF.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>On <a href=\"https:\/\/photos.google.com\/\">Web<\/a>:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Reorder your photos in an album<\/strong>: Click the pencil icon within the album, then drag photos to reorder them.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Edit the time\/date stamp of a photo by opening an image<\/strong>: Click the little \u201ci\u201d icon to show the sidebar, rolling over the date, and clicking the pencil icon (<a href=\"http:\/\/jnack.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/08\/Time-stamp-editing.jpg\">here\u2019s a screenshot<\/a>).<\/li>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>iOS, Android, and Web have received some nice tweaks.
