{"id":11261,"date":"2006-11-02T06:51:26","date_gmt":"2006-11-02T06:51:26","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/blogs.adobe.com\/jnackdev\/2006\/11\/adobe-color-mangement-module-now-on-labs.html"},"modified":"2006-11-02T06:51:26","modified_gmt":"2006-11-02T06:51:26","slug":"adobe_color_mangement_module_now_on_labs","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/jnack.com\/blog\/2006\/11\/02\/adobe_color_mangement_module_now_on_labs\/","title":{"rendered":"Adobe Color Mangement Module now on Labs"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><a href=\"http:\/\/labs.adobe.com\/technologies\/cmm\/\">The Adobe Color Mangement Module (CMM)<\/a> is now available on Adobe Labs for community review and testing.&#160; So, what is this thing?&#160; In a nutshell, it&#8217;s the color converter part of the Adobe Color Engine (ACE), transformed into a library that can be used by non-Adobe apps.&#160; The upshot is that you can use a single color management engine across your workflow, enabling more consistent display and output of colors. <\/p>\n<p>ACE is built into Adobe products and therefore can&#8217;t be used by non-Adobe products (Quark, etc.).
