See also <a href=\"http:\/\/www.time.com\/time\/yip\/2006\/\">Time&#8217;s collection<\/a>. <\/li>\n<li>The Photography Blog features an <a href=\"http:\/\/www.photographyblog.com\/articles_gerd_ludwig_interview.php\">interview<\/a> with German photographer <a href=\"http:\/\/www.gerdludwig.com\/html\/gallery.html\">Gerd Ludwig<\/a>, named Photographer of the Year at the <a href=\"http:\/\/lucieawards.com\/\">Lucie Awards<\/a>.&#160; His journeys through the former USSR produce images both <a href=\"http:\/\/www.gerdludwig.com\/html\/stories_soviet.html\">grim<\/a> &amp; <a href=\"http:\/\/www.gerdludwig.com\/html\/stories_empire_04.html\">transcendent<\/a>. &#160; (On going digital, &quot;I turned my film fridge into a wine cooler,&quot; he says.) [<a href=\"http:\/\/www.robgalbraith.com\/bins\/content_page.asp?cid=7-7901-8731\">Via<\/a>]<\/li>\n<li>Chernobyl is the subject of an intense and difficult <a href=\"http:\/\/todayspictures.slate.com\/inmotion\/essay_chernobyl\/?zsacategory=2129759\">portfolio from Paul Fusco<\/a>.
