{"id":11331,"date":"2006-12-26T09:49:14","date_gmt":"2006-12-26T09:49:14","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/blogs.adobe.com\/jnackdev\/2006\/12\/mobile-authoring-in-photoshop-cs3.html"},"modified":"2006-12-26T09:49:14","modified_gmt":"2006-12-26T09:49:14","slug":"mobile_authoring_in_photoshop_cs3","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/jnack.com\/blog\/2006\/12\/26\/mobile_authoring_in_photoshop_cs3\/","title":{"rendered":"Mobile authoring in Photoshop CS3"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Bill Perry, who manages global developer relations for mobile and devices at Adobe, has posted a <a href=\"http:\/\/www.flashdevices.net\/mobileauthoring\/\">quick walk-through<\/a> of creating &amp; previewing artwork using the Photoshop CS3 beta together with the new <a href=\"http:\/\/www.flashdevices.net\/2006\/12\/adobe-device-central-beta-in-adobe.html\">Adobe Device Central.<\/a>&#160; ADC lets you browse among device profiles*, then preview your artwork on the devices while simulating screen glare, changes to backlighting, and more. <\/p>\n<p>I have to say, I&#8217;m really glad to see mobile authoring get some love and attention at Adobe.&#160; It&#8217;s not that the company didn&#8217;t have ideas and tools prior to the Macromedia integration; in fact, GoLive included a variety of mobile emulators &amp; authoring tools.&#160; It&#8217;s just that we could not, for the life of us, adequately get customers&#8217; attention.
