So I did, and I came away with <a href=\"http:\/\/www.jnack.com\/highland_games\/\" \/>this gallery<\/a> of caber tossing<sup>**<\/sup>, a &#8220;hairy coo&#8221; (w\/drawing of same), birds of prey&#8211;oh, the obligatory white guys showing some leg.\n<li>Adobe pro photography evangelist George Jardine (of <a href=\"http:\/\/blogs.adobe.com\/jnack\/lightroom\/podcasts\/\" \/>Lightroom podcast<\/a> fame) just returned to San Jose with terrific galleries of <a href=\"http:\/\/www.mulita.com\/china\/china1\/\" \/>China<\/a> and <a href=\"http:\/\/www.mulita.com\/tibet\/tibet1\/\" \/>Tibet<\/a>.  Sadly, at least one Tibetan hairy coo <a href=\"http:\/\/www.mulita.com\/tibet\/tibet1\/content\/_MG_5098_large.html\">didn&#8217;t fare as well<\/a> as its Scottish counterpart.<\/ul>\n<p><sup>*<\/sup> <i>The Games&#8217; site seems about as archaic as the games themselves.<br \/>\n<sup>*<\/sup> It&#8217;s tough not to make it look like the tossers are getting <a href=\"http:\/\/www.jnack.com\/highland_games\/images\/Caber_Pwned.jpg\">gored by giant cigarettes<\/a>; apparently someone at Worth1000 <a href=\"http:\/\/www.worth1000.com\/entries\/100000\/100204otVS_w.jpg\">agrees<\/a>.
