That reality is now <a href=\"http:\/\/www.informationarchitects.jp\/slash\/iA_WebTrends_2007_2_1600x1024.gif\">depicted in this info graphic<\/a> from Information Architects Japan, mashing up online players with a map of the Tokyo subway system.&#160; Nice to see Adobe occupying what seems to be some sunny downtown space (&#8220;They continue to move towards the center of gravity without being too loud about it&#8221;).&#160; More info on the project is <a href=\"http:\/\/www.informationarchitects.jp\/ia-trendmap-2007v2\">here<\/a>. [<a href=\"http:\/\/www.kottke.org\/remainder\/07\/07\/13973.html\">Via<\/a>]&#160; Speaking of work done in the paper, this week they posted a cool Flash-based map of <a href=\"http:\/\/www.nytimes.com\/ref\/business\/20070715_GILDED_GRAPHIC.html\">The Wealthiest Americans Ever<\/a>, efficiently plotting net worth, rank, and life span. <\/li>\n<li> <a href=\"http:\/\/mullinslab2.ucsf.edu\/craigstats\/\">CraigStatsSF<\/a> combines data from Craigslist with Google Maps in order to produce heat maps that depict housing cost and density by region.&#160; (Disclaimer: &#8220;We only identify with hotpockets which are tasty and lethal.&#8221;) [<a href=\"http:\/\/feeds.feedburner.com\/~r\/boingboing\/iBag\/~3\/135751189\/craigstatssf_craigsl.html\">Via<\/a>]<\/li>\n<li>I don&#8217;t know whether it&#8217;s an infographic per se, and it&#8217;s hardly new, but Henrich Bunting&#8217;s 16th-century depiction of <a href=\"http:\/\/strangemaps.wordpress.com\/2007\/03\/08\/87-the-whole-world-in-a-cloverleaf\/\">the world as a cloverleaf<\/a> (joined at Jerusalem) is interesting enough to deserve mention. [<a href=\"http:\/\/www.neatorama.com\/2007\/07\/20\/the-world-as-a-cloverleaf\/\">Via<\/a>]  \n<\/li>\n<li>Free Press features <a href=\"http:\/\/www.freepress.net\/content\/atthistory\">a visual representation of how AT&amp;T has been reconstituted<\/a>, <i>T2<\/i>-style, after being broken up in 1984.
