(Oh, and he&#8217;s 18.  Man, if you saw what I did in PS at age 18, you&#8217;d have me fed to wild dogs.)<\/li>\n<li><a href=\"http:\/\/www.depthcore.com\/\">Depthcore<\/a> pulls together some terrific noirish monochrome illustrations.  I especially like <a href=\"http:\/\/www.depthcore.com\/spotlight\/4050\/\">Karol Kolodzinski&#8217;s piece<\/a>.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><\/p>\n<p>Illustrated misfortune:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>I&#8217;ll have the drumstick in this <a href=\"http:\/\/photoshopdisasters.blogspot.com\/2008\/11\/some-magazine-thigh-anxiety.html\">recent Photoshop disaster<\/a>.<\/li>\n<li>Certain things about cartoon characters, you&#8217;d just <a href=\"http:\/\/www.theonion.com\/content\/news\/burned_lower_half_of_morts_face?utm_source=slate_rss_1\">really rather not know<\/a>.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><\/p>\n<p>Self-aggrandizement:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>The pixel masters at <a href=\"http:\/\/hello.eboy.com\/eboy\/index.php\">eBoy<\/a> featured yours truly among <a href=\"http:\/\/www.flickr.com\/photos\/mikechambers\/3038794071\/sizes\/o\/\">a field of &#8216;Dobe peeps<\/a>.  Thanks, guys!  (Incidentally, this illustration plays ridiculously well with content-aware scaling in PSCS4.)<\/li>\n<li>At the recent party to celebrate shipping CS4, Photoshop engineer <a href=\"http:\/\/www.geoffscottphotography.com\/\">Geoff Scott<\/a> took a cool <a href=\"http:\/\/www.jnack.com\/adobe\/photoshop\/jn_silhouette.jpg\">shot of me<\/a> that I turned into a quasi-<em><a href=\"http:\/\/www.jnack.com\/adobe\/photoshop\/rolling_stones_hot_rocks_1964_1971.jpg\">Hot Rocks<\/a><\/em>-style <a href=\"http:\/\/www.jnack.com\/adobe\/photoshop\/jnack_droste.jpg\">illustration<\/a> via the new PS Pixel Bender plug-in.
