Apparently, this restaurant believes that a wikipedia is some kind of mushroom, because there were two pages of the menu devoted to mushroom-focused dishes, and wikipedia seemed to be sprinkled liberally throughout.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>He pointed out <a href=\"http:\/\/www.chamagudaochina.cn\/\">the restaurant&#8217;s site<\/a>, but as it&#8217;s in Chinese it proved unhelpful, and I never got around to posting the story.&#160; Now via Boing Boing I find that another dude made the same discovery&#8211;and this time <a href=\"http:\/\/ourfounder.typepad.com\/leblog\/2007\/10\/jimmy-wales-gro.html\">he brought a camera<\/a>.&#160; Turns out that &#8220;wikipedia&#8221; goes great with everything from <a href=\"http:\/\/flickr.com\/photos\/goodape\/460763315\/\">BBQ eel to bean curd<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>In other funky Asian\/English language news:  <\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>My photographer friend <a href=\"http:\/\/www.claremclean.com\/\">Clare<\/a> is dating a guy from Okinawa, and he points out that the now-ubiquitous term &#8220;<a href=\"http:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Bokeh\">bokeh<\/a>&#8221; (lens blur) refers not just generally to fuzziness in Japanese, but also Alzheimer&#8217;s disease in particular.  The usage is <a href=\"http:\/\/www.apug.org\/forums\/forum52\/27274-bokeh-6.html#post297621\">apparently insulting<\/a>.<\/li>\n<li>From China comes the amusingly (and unintentionally) bizarre <a href=\"http:\/\/flickr.com\/photos\/13951881%40N00\/1322469649\/in\/photostream\/\">Benign Girl<\/a>.
