{"id":15255,"date":"2021-08-09T09:19:23","date_gmt":"2021-08-09T16:19:23","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/jnack.com\/blog\/?p=15255"},"modified":"2021-08-09T09:19:25","modified_gmt":"2021-08-09T16:19:25","slug":"flying-with-a-big-train","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/jnack.com\/blog\/2021\/08\/09\/flying-with-a-big-train\/","title":{"rendered":"Flying with a Big Train"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>Dropping by the <a href=\"https:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Tehachapi_Loop\">Tehachapi Loop<\/a> (\u201cthe Eight Wonder of the railroading world\u201d) last year en route to Colorado was a\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/www.jnack.com\/micronaxx\/2020\/07\/26\/road-trip-day-2-tehachapi-loop\/\">highlight of the journey<\/a>\u00a0and one of my son Henry\u2019s greatest railfanning experiences ever\u2014which is really saying something!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>This year Hen &amp; I set out for some sunset trainspotting. We were thrilled to see multiple trains passing each other &amp; looping over one another via the corkscrew tracks.
