{"id":17479,"date":"2012-04-01T22:59:06","date_gmt":"2012-04-02T05:59:06","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/blogs.adobe.com\/jnack\/?p=6346"},"modified":"2012-04-01T22:59:06","modified_gmt":"2012-04-02T05:59:06","slug":"configurator-3-is-coming-for-cs6","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/jnack.com\/blog\/2012\/04\/01\/configurator-3-is-coming-for-cs6\/","title":{"rendered":"Configurator 3 is coming for CS6"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>I&#8217;m pleased to say that <a href=\"http:\/\/labs.adobe.com\/technologies\/configurator\/\">Adobe Configurator<\/a>, the easy, drag-and-drop tool for creating panels for Photoshop and InDesign, is being revved for CS6 &amp; is due to arrive when CS6 ships for real (i.e. not as a beta).\u00a0 Among the new features in development:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Supports Photoshop CS5\/5.1 and CS6<\/li>\n<li>Supports InDesign CS5\/5.5 and CS6<\/li>\n<li>Supports the new dynamic color theme switching (dark backgrounds) in Photoshop CS6<\/li>\n<li>Lets you migrate existing Configurator 2 panels to create both CS5- &amp; CS6-compatible panels<\/li>\n<li>Launches much more quickly than Configurator 2<\/li>\n<li>Renews a focus on tutorials, offering easy leveraging of exiting HTML, video and audio content&#8211;great for developers, trainers and general users<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>The new version of Configurator is required for converting Configurator-made panels for CS4 and CS5 to run in CS6.
