But there is nothing simple about simplicity, and achieving it requires following three major principles: <strong>empathizing<\/strong> (by perceiving others&#8217; needs and expectations), <strong>distilling<\/strong> (by reducing to its essence the substance of one&#8217;s offer) and <strong>clarifying<\/strong> (by making the offering easier to understand or use).<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>It&#8217;s interesting to hear that Trader Joe&#8217;s curates their selection, offering 1\/10th the product diversity of other supermarkets (though that still means 4,000 different items for sale) and produces twice the revenue per square foot as Whole Paycheck.
