{"id":21511,"date":"2024-01-23T16:06:07","date_gmt":"2024-01-24T00:06:07","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/jnack.com\/blog\/?p=21511"},"modified":"2024-01-23T16:06:07","modified_gmt":"2024-01-24T00:06:07","slug":"content-credentials-are-coming-to-dalle","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/jnack.com\/blog\/2024\/01\/23\/content-credentials-are-coming-to-dalle\/","title":{"rendered":"Content credentials are coming to DALL\u2022E"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>From its first launch, Adobe Firefly has included support for content credentials, providing more transparency around the origin of generated images, and I&#8217;m very pleased to see Open AI <a href=\"https:\/\/openai.com\/blog\/how-openai-is-approaching-2024-worldwide-elections\">moving in the same direction<\/a>:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote\">\n<p>Early this year, we will implement the&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/c2pa.org\/post\/contentcredentials\/\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Coalition for Content Provenance and Authenticity\u2019s&nbsp;<\/a>digital credentials\u2014an approach that encodes details about the content\u2019s provenance using cryptography\u2014for images generated by DALL\u00b7E 3.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>We are also experimenting with a provenance classifier, a new tool for detecting images generated by DALL\u00b7E. Our internal testing has shown promising early results, even where images have been subject to common types of modifications.
