Though I never got to know him well, Jay was a familiar &amp; colorful presence in the world of Photoshop and Lightroom. See some <a href=\"https:\/\/www.facebook.com\/joemcnallyphoto\/posts\/pfbid0fmogQHgRBWLMN2Qm3WbTZRJJqyovjx4ZdPJurSZFyBdZNjFh3QVcZUNYJZ2NLTkTl\">memorable recollections<\/a> from Joe McNally.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Many years ago I had the chance to drop by the iconic converted&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Germania_Bank_Building_(New_York_City)\">bank building<\/a>&nbsp;in the Bowery he occupied for nearly half a century. (This must\u2019ve been before phone cameras got good, as otherwise I\u2019d have shot the bejesus out of the place.) It was everything you\u2019d hope it to be.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>More recently, my father-in-law (having no idea about the visit) dialed up the documentary \u201cJay Myself\u201d last night, and whole family (down to my then-12yo budding photographer son) loved it.
