Movies are a hell of thing. Once you think they're done, you get more. On behalf of the Notre Dame/Saint Mary's community, allow me a moment to say"Hooray for Hollywood" by looking at some great new releases. You'll enjoy these releases.
I haven't seen this one. My girlfriend Jen likes it a lot. She wants me to take her to see it, but the Cubs are playing tonight.
"Good Will Hunting" - Three and a half stars
Robin Williams is a very funny comedian. You may remember him as "Mork". Well, now he's doing drama, and I, for one, say "Nanoo nanoo" to that.
"As Good As It Gets" - One star
Didn't understand it. What's with the Talk Soup guy? Will he get the hell off the screen?
"The Life Of Brian" - Four stars
Funny film. Sometimes my friends and I get together and quote lines from the film. That's how funny it is.
"Airplane II" - Four stars
Addressed a lot of things left hanging in "Airplane I". Good to see that.
"Rudy" - Two stars
Didn't understand this one. I never saw that kid walking around. Where are they getting this from?
"Knute Rockne All American" - One star
Same thing. Who the hell is Rockne? I never saw him walking around. I don't remember Ronald Reagan ever playing for the Irish. That would have been something.
