Placing this ML-driven tech atop the set of now-vintage (!) Quick Selection & Magic Wand tools should help get it discovered, and the ability to smartly add & subtract chunks of an image looks really promising. I can’t wait to put it to the test.

Seriously? This is not close to being a professional tool.
This morning I was trying to select a black hard edged object from a white background. The selection doesn’t get close to the edge of the object and it is a flat lay, so nothing complex about it. AI fail.
Darn—I’m sorry to hear that. I haven’t yet gotten to test it much yet myself. Presumably it needs to be used as a one-two punch with Refine Edge.
