You know, it’s funny…I was all prepared to roll my eyes at more tilt/shift, but it was done really well. And the Carnival section was gorgeous!

Too bad for this video. Looking past the technique, the photography is actually beautiful – each and every scene is well-seen. The beach stuff particularly, and the carnival stuff as well. But the beauty and purity of the photographer’s vision is all flattened out by the silly tilt-shift/sped-up-stop-action/flavor-of-the-month treatment.
Oh my, this too shall pass…
