Remember how ambitious everyone felt, how hopeful everyone felt about computers? One of the subheads in that ad was “Toward a Language of Dreams.” The future was going to be so cool.
And this is what it has turned into. Pretty calculators. I think I’ve seen enough of whatever we’ve become. I won’t comment on anything else anymore.
