  1. I’ve not been able to open Nikon D2Xs NEFs using 3.5 and 3.6 Beta in CS2, although the D2X NEFs open properly. Anyone else having this problem? I’ve dropped the file into \\Program Files\Common Files\Adobe\Plug-Ins\File Formats as required.
[Hmm–not sure what could be going on there. You might try asking on the ACR forum at http://www.adobeforums.com.]

  2. What about Sigma? Why does it seem that the popular non-professional cameras get priority? I can understand the big-walleted companies like Nikon, Canon, et al. Are we waiting for the next generation Foveon cameras? I’ve seen someone write that they are busy writing code for it. Who is? The SD-9 came out ages ago and so did the SD-10. What gives?
[Good questions. I’ll see what I can find out. –J.]

  3. also no luck with camera raw 3.6 update. Still opens all my D70 nef files, but not from my D80. My mac will open them in Iphoto, but cs2 not willing to play the game. Any clues???
[Let me see what I can find out. You may want to go into Photoshop and choose “About Plug-In” (under Help on Windows, under Photoshop on Mac) and confirm that ACR 3.6 is actually installed correctly. –J.]
[Update: ACR 3.6 is available via the Adobe Update Manager, so you can try choosing Help->Updates in Photoshop in order to grab it. –J.]
