That’s a photograph all right, but what a stunning combination of subject, light, focal length and composition! The whole image takes on the look of something created in Illustrator.
The photo from Nat Geo reminds me of the beautiful cinematography of the film ‘The Cell’ directed by Tarsem Singh.
