  1. I applaud what must have been a tough decision. Now you can say that Creative Suite 6 is built for the future.

  2. This makes me so sad and depressed. Adobe is the second company I know to drop Vista.
When I plan my upgrades, this kind of abandonment makes me want to plan for one of two things: Either go with Apple from now on and build my workflow around Final Cut and Logic and other Apple-supplied software; or go with HP and Windows 8, but build my workflow around ONLY MS Office and software I write myself.
I’m going to go eat something with a lot of sugar in it now.

    1. Umm, you want to go with Apple because you don’t like Adobe dropping support for an OS that has relatively very few users? You’re prepared to upgrade to CS6, but not spend the relatively small amount to upgrade to Win 7?
You realise that Apple are the masters of forced upgrades?
And if you’re writing your own software, how on earth are you choosing Vista as your OS of choice?

  3. At the office we’re still on some patched together version of Windows XP and CS5 so whatever your situation, does it compare? (and we’re not some random unknow shop either but some outsiders think is really cool and up-2-date.. the suckers :))
    (I have you know I could boot a original-installed -from-disk IE6 if I want.. that how old-skool we are! (cheapskates) 🙂
