You really should link the funny comparison video of Scott using the Cintiq and “Pearls Before Swine” cartoonist Steve Pastis doing it the old way.
It may be the angle of the close ups, but it looks like there is a delay from the stylus contacting and drawing on the tablet to the corresponding marks on the canvas in PS. Anybody have any insight on this?
The angle of the camera definitely shows “parallax,” the distance between the pen-on-glass and the LCD surface, and can trick the viewer into thinking that there is a lag, but there really is no lag. If you have any other questions, feel free to drop me an email. Happy holidays.
