BrushKnob, an external controller for Photoshop

Designer & maker Wataru Kami has devised BrushKnob, an ultra simple tool for controlling brush size in Photoshop. Having seen a lot of external controllers come & go over the last 10+ years (Logitech NuLooq anyone… anyone? Adobe Nav app? VSCO Keys?), I know it’s a very steep hill to climb—but good for Wataru for trying.

  1. BrushKnob is a welcome accessory and should be considered by many.

However, I still prefer and enjoy using the dynamic Photoshop key commands (Control+Option and Brush) to control, on the fly, the brush’s size and softness.

It’s built-in and works every time.
