Great presentation, but it’s all a Ponzi Scheme. We are already overpopulated beyond hope of long-term sustainability, and our populations are exploding. Without population control and decrease soon we are lost.

In response to Dr. James Lazell, the world as it is today might indeed be a ponzi scheme. But the data tell us that the only way to stop population growth, maybe even reach negative global population growth, is improved economy and health for the poorest. Or, to be exact, reduced child mortality. Reduced child mortality directly affects reduction in population growth. There’s plenty of data supporting this, and again Hans Rosling explains it best and most entertainingly:
