Speaking of remixing, Pioneer has introduced the DVJ-1000, a turntable that lets DJs scratch with video DVDs just as they would with music on vinyl. "Digital video scratches, loops and instant cues are all possible," they proclaim. I’d love to see a video demo of this thing in action. (Maybe it’ll pop up at a future Flashforward or the like.)
