And for all of us, including those who use REAL computers rather than computers with half chewed fruit on the case, there are content aware fill, much improved masking, and several other features that allow the less skilled like me to do a much better job than before.
The other CS5 applications have improved features, but Photoshop was definitely the crown jewel of the package.

Typical case of “your mileage may vary”. Try that line on someone who only tangentially uses PS but does video editing with Premiere and After Effects all the time. To those, the Mercury playback engine, Rotobrush and the move to 64bit in those apps have much more value. Likewise, Dreamweaver has gotten better CSS handling and previewing as well as various code enhancements and while it may perhaps be less posh and obvious, it clearly is an important thing to a web designer. So for what it’s worth – where the crown jewel goes is pretty much a case of what you do every day.
Not surprised, I am using Photoshop CS5 on Mac, and it just rocks.
