Hi John,
Seeing as the Visual Effects guys were on the second page of the credits, and there was no Special Effects credits, I’d say it was all CG.
[Yes, but look at the comments (search for “fire”), at the second video where snowboarders are clearly set alight. –J.]
Nicely done, they’ve got some nice weight and detail to the flame when the guys land a jump, the smoke is pretty bad though.
