A Photoshop engineer vs. the exploitation of kids

A few years ago, John Penn was invited to attend the Internet Crimes Against Children Conference and share his knowledge as a Photoshop engineer. The experience changed his life. Now he’s a Senior Solutions Architect helping law enforcement agencies around the world use Photoshop to combat the exploitation of children.

  1. John,
Thanks so much for posting this; incredibly powerful, incredibly moving.
As someone who uses Photoshop on a daily basis I also teach Law Enforcement here in the UK so that they can retrieve so much more from images. It’s kind of hard to explain but knowing what I know about Photoshop makes it feel kind of like my ‘duty’…does that make sense?
Again, thanks for sharing and if you’re at Photoshop World this March it would be great to finally say hi.
    All the best to you,
    Glyn
