Lightroom 4.1 RC2 now includes the ability to process HDR TIFF files. (16, 24 or 32-bit TIFF files) This can be quite useful if you have merged multiple exposures into a single 32-bit image using Photoshop’s HDR Pro. Using the new basic panel controls can be a very effective and straightforward method of achieving an overall balance across the tonal range.
Additional Color Fringing corrections have been added to Lightroom 4.1 RC2. Please see this blog post for additional details.

Nice, useful info, as usual…thanks, John (missed you at PSW, BTW). CPB
Here is a question, why is LR4 and PS cs6 both not available for XP sp3?
PHOTOSHOP CS6

1GB of available hard-disk space for installation; additional free space required during installation (cannot install on removable flash storage devices)
1024×768 display (1280×800 recommended) with 16-bit color and 512MB of VRAM

LIGHTROOM 4
System requirements
Windows
Intel® Pentium® 4 or AMD Athlon® 64 processor
Microsoft® Windows Vista® with Service Pack 2 or Windows® 7 with Service Pack 1
2GB of RAM
1GB of available hard-disk space
1024×768 display
DVD-ROM drive
Internet connection required for Internet-based services*
So what does not make sense is that I can install PS cs6 on an XP sp3 machine but not LR4.
Roughly one in ten of our Windows users are on XP, when we’re talking about Photoshop…that’s a big number. There’s no detriment to users of newer Windows OS’ and the folks on XP are thrilled. -Bryan

I agree with you. I can’t understand why PS CS6 supports XP either–it takes extra work to support anitquated OS’s that could be used for other things.

Lightroom 4 requires a modern operating system, it will not work on Windows XP.
