I’m always intrigued by what people can produce by mining & transforming a big image set:
- Symmetry Explorer gathers Flickr search results, then displays them as mirrored pairs. The results are surprisingly cool.
- Long-time Flickr hacker Krazydad lets you make your own kaleidoscopes from images. [Via]
- Wolfenflickr is Castle Wolfenstein in Flash, with your photos projected onto the walls. [Via]
On non-Flickr but somewhat similar fronts:
- Yearbook Yourself places your face in high school photos from decades past. I’ve gotten poor results so far, though Jason Kottke fared better.
- Put a Porsche in your driveway [Via Bryan O’Neil Hughes]
Symmetry is very pretty (hmm, maybe I should use the word cool but its just so pretty) with lightning chosen as the source.
Wolfenflickr Pretty well processed these images
