The balloon race shot by Gaston Batistini is outstanding!
Stunning work!!
The balloon race shot, at first glance, is remarkable. But upon studying it, for a minute, you begin to see obvious photoshopping that doesn’t ring true. The balloons with a strong highlight from the sun, don’t seem to belong in the same shot, as the majority of balloons that don’t have that highlight. It becomes rather obvious that some balloons were cloned into the shot. Also, why is the “X” on the runway, so much brighter than the other whites in the shot? I’m all for artistic license, but I’m also all for making the use Photoshop and HDR, as transparent as possible. All in all, a good effort.
I don´t know why but the laser graphics like here http://www.laserportraits.net/post/176434892/do-we-think-rick-knows-just-how-much-i-adore-the fascinate me a lot.
I think the FRANKENCAMERA is a revolution in Photography.
G’day John,
Some Australian Dust Storm virtual tours from yesterday that may be of interest to you.
I’ve done a comparison, before after the dust storm… the difference is dramatic 🙂
